Over 200 people registered for our listening/budget presentations. So far Dr. Candy Plahy has facilitated 24 sessions including an ocean shore session with staff and parents and one budget meeting with. The major themes are as follows:

• Pause! Provide a year for planning.
• Community were not provided enough information about school closures
• Co-Location is really a merger and an attempt to bypass legal retirement for closing schools
• Parents are planning to Leave
• This is a good idea some understand the need for change
• Budget committee members (some) felt blindsided by the decision.
