Mobile App
Step 1: Download the Pacifica School District App
- Open the App Store on your device
- Search for Pacifica School District
- Tap Get to download the app
Note: Apple device users may be required to enter their Apple ID password to complete the download.
- Once the app is installed, tap the app icon to open it
Step 2: Log In to the App
- Enter your Username. Your username is your school email address.
- You do not need to enter a password. Instead, select Continue with Google to sign in using Google Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Choose your school Google account when prompted.
- If you have Google two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled—which we strongly recommend—you will need to approve the sign-in request using your selected authentication method.
- Once authentication is complete, you will be logged in to the app.

- You will be prompted to select your preferred language for the app display.
- After the login, also you will be abale to changed the setting such as language, site subscriptions for news, calendar, and post, and also the Notifications

- Next, choose the level of notifications you would like to receive on your mobile device. Select Allow Notifications to opt in to notifications. A separate permission window may appear, allowing you to grant notification access for the app.
- You also have the option to customize your chat notification settings and specify when you would like to receive chat notifications.
- Please allow notifications for the app in your device settings if prompted. For example, on an iPhone, you may need to go to Settings > Notifications, select the app, and enable Allow Notifications to receive alerts and chat notifications.
Step 3: Navigate to the Chats Icon in the Bottom Toolbar
Once you are logged in to your mobile app, find the Chats icon in the bottom toolbar. Click to open and start chatting!

*Using the desktop version? You will begin directly on the Chat dashboard upon login.

Step 5: Creating Chat Rooms and Posting Permissions
- Teachers and staff members can create chat rooms and manage participants.
- When creating a chat room, the creator can determine who has permission to post messages:
- Everyone can post – All members of the chat room can send and receive messages.
- School moderators only – Only designated administrators or moderators can post messages, while other members can view and receive messages but cannot reply.

Web Browser
Step 1: Access the Web Browser Login
To access the Parent and Teacher Two-Way Chat platform through a web browser, please visit the following URL:

Step 1: Getting Logged In For The First Time
- Enter your Username. (Your username is the email you have listed as your parent contact email in ParentVUE (Synergy).)
- Select Forgot password to have a reset password link sent to the email address associated with your account. You'll be directed to a Login page where you can Create a new Password.
- Please also remember that you will receive a Two-Factor Authentication Code in your email to confirm your identity. You will need this code to reset your password or to complete the login process and gain access to the app.

- After creating your password, return to the login page and sign in using your email address and newly created password.
- Next, enter the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) code that was sent to your email address to verify your identity.
- Once you have successfully logged in, you will be prompted to select your preferred language for the app.
