Superintendent's Message - February 13, 2026

Dear Pacifica School District Community,

Many of our students, families, and staff are currently experiencing a range of emotions including grief, fear, and concern in response to recent events across the country. I want to begin by acknowledging the weight of this moment and the very real impact it has on our school community. During times like these, it is especially important to pause, listen, and care for one another. 

At Pacifica School District, we are guided by our commitment to compassion, dignity, and mutual respect. Even when national conversations feel heavy, we remain dedicated to coming together to support our students and ensuring that every child feels seen, valued, and safe in our classrooms. Our collective focus remains on student safety, emotional well-being, and learning. As a TK-8 district, we see these moments as opportunities for "civic learning" helping our students understand the importance of empathy, respectful dialogue, and peaceful engagement.
