Education Support Services (ESS) of Pacifica School District plays a crucial role in transforming education by providing professional development and technical assistance to support rigorous, engaging education for all of students. ESS’s work spans from Early Education and Development, College and Career Success Programs, Extended Learning Opportunities (ELOP), Multilanguage Learners supports, statewide assessments, ensuring support for students. In alignment with the needs of our district, ESS also provides services connected to the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) priority areas.

ESS works on a variety of initiatives, including curriculum and instruction development, the EL (English Learner) programming, the Pacifica Pipeline Project in Career Awareness, and the CTE (Career and Technical Education) initiatives. Additionally, ESS supports Big Lift Literacy initiatives, all of which ar integral to the success and educational advancement of our students.
