Welcome to IBL

Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School opened on August 22nd, 2002. With 27 teachers and 600 students, Ingrid B. Lacy Middle School (IBL) focuses on the needs of sixth through eighth graders, supporting and encouraging them in the transition from childhood to young adulthood. A rich and challenging curriculum is taught by credentialed specialist teachers in each subject area and further enriched through partnerships with the San Mateo County Public Library System, the Boys and Girls Club along with specialized programs such as Robotics, performing and visual arts, and study trips.
