All students entering 7th grade are
required to have had, or to be in the process of receiving,
a three-shot series to prevent Hepatitis B, a dangerous
liver disease. Also, they will need a second dose of
measles vaccine.
Students must present documentation
to their school office in the form of an immunization
record showing that 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine and
a second dose of measles vaccine have been received
by the student. The record must indicate the date each
dose was received. Students who have begun, but not
yet completed the 3 dose series may be admitted on condition
that they are up-to-date and finish the series when
doses are due.
