The Pacifica School District contracts
with child care providers to provide on-site child care at
all the elementary schools. As part of modernization, the
district has placed a strong emphasis on providing upgraded
child care facilities and ensuring that ample facilities are
available at each site to accommodate parent needs. In addition,
the district monitors the quality of service at each site
to ensure that child care programs complement the instructional
program district schools offer. The district recognizes that
the availability and quality of on-site child care is an important
factor in a parent's choice of school for their children.
The district has two providers, Temporary
Tot Tending and The City of Pacifica that offer services at
the elementary schools.
