For Parents, Community Volunteers and Student Tutors

K – 6th Grades and 7th - 8th Grades

 

 

Learn Skills To Help Students Understand Math

 

Pacifica School Volunteers in conjunction with the Pacifica School District will be conducting free math workshops for parents, community volunteers and student tutors to learn new ways to help students master vital math skills. 

 

Ford Long, Pacifica School District Math Resource Teacher, will conduct this workshop. 

 

Workshop will offer the following to all attendees:

 

-Valuable resources to help you and students understand math vocabulary and concepts

* FREE MATH MATERIALS WILL BE GIVEN TO ALL ATTENDEES*

-Models for helping students’ problem solve

-Overview of newly adopted textbook materials

-Websites to help with homework

 

Pacifica School Volunteers Math Workshop K-6th and 7th - 8th Grades will be held at Ingrid B. Lacy in the Library

• Tuesday, October 13th, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. K-6th Grades

• Thursday, October 15th, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 7th & 8th Grades
