Sunset Ridge Library
Sunset Ridge Library currently has over 14,000 volumes
including native language books for our English Language Learners.
Books are purchased in all areas based on suggestions from teachers
and other staff. Library grants enable us to expand to our goal
of 30 books per child or 15,000 volumes. Follett Publishing has provided
bar coding so our library is entering the electronic age. We
have the student ID cards with bar coding so checkout will be easier
than ever!
Students can borrow books for one to two weeks
based
on grade level -- K-1s borrow for one week and grades 2 through 5
borrow
for two weeks. With the website available to parents, you can
check
to see if our library carries a particular author or title and even
reserve
it for review.
Mrs. Lauren Reynolds, our librarian, welcomes
parental
help in the library before, during and after school. Donations of
books are welcome upon review of the content material.
